6. Make a short film – Hacemos un corto

Ya que hemos visto en clase algunas nociones de fotografía, vídeo, cine, audio, etc., ahora vais a poner en práctica real vuestros conocimientos a través de la realización de una práctica que consiste en realizar un cortometraje.

Como ya hemos ido viendo en el aula, el lenguaje audiovisual es complicado ya que hay que tener en cuenta muchas cosas: composición, encuadre, planificación, ambiente, equipo de grabación, sonido y por supuesto…¡el guión!.

El guión y el storyboard serán dos de las cosas más importantes ya que al no contar con grandes medios técnicos será muy importante que la historia sea atractiva.

Para que el guión sea más facil de desarrollar, podéis basarlo por ejemplo
(no obligatorio)

  • En la letra de una canción
  • En cualquier otro texto que os guste especialmente o que pueda ser adaptado a la versión cortometraje.

Los requisitos que debe tener el cortometraje son:

  • Unos 2-3 minutos de duración (sin contar los títulos y los créditos)
  • Relacionar o mencionar de alguna manera algo de «Tecnología»
  • Podéis formar libremente grupos con el único requisito que todos los miembros deben aparecer en el vídeo.
  • La resolución de los vídeos debe ser FullHD (1920×1080).

OPCIONAL

  • Podéis incluir algún pequeño fragmento de stopmotion o un Croma.
  • Si vuestro vídeo tiene diálogos, debe aparecer algo o todo en inglés.
  • Se puede hacer con una cámara de vídeo o una cámara de fotos que grabe vídeo o un móvil (preferentemente de calidad). Es recomendable el uso de trípode

Goodbye to David Bowie

10th January of 2016.

Today is a sad date for modern music, because of David Bowie’s death. David Bowie, who was born on 8th January 1947, was an English singer, songwriter, record producer, painter and actor. He has been a great icon in Pop music for over five decades. All his music is marked by the innovation, the visual presentation and the intellectual complexity. His music has had a really important impact in modern music.

During his lifetime, he sold 140 million records worldwide. He released about 26 studio albums, and he appeared in 22 films. In the United Kingdom, he was awarded 9 platinum, 11 gold and 8 silver albums, and in the United States, 5 platinum and 7 gold.

“Space Oddity” (1969) became his first Top Five on the UK Single Charts. After a period of experimentation, he re-emerged in 1972 during the Glam Rock era, with his single “Starman” and he new album “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars”.

After his death, his new album “Blackstar”, that has been released 2 days before David Bowie’s death, is in the Top 1 Best-seller Albums in UK and in USA.

With that information, we realize that David Bowie’s music will never leave us.

Oblituary to GLENN FREY

Glenn Lewis Frey, was born on November 6, 1948 and died on January 18, 2016. He was an American singer and a founding member of the band

“the Eagles”.

When he was five years old he started to play the piano and then started to play the guitar on his own. Glenn took part in many bands before forming the Eagles, like, the Subterraneans, the Mushrooms etc.

In 1971 Glenn formed the Eagles with their partners Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Smith. At present the band has desappeared because of the death of the band´s vocalist.

This band has released many famous songs that everybody knows like

Hotel California, Take it easy etc.

The Eagles broke up in 1980, but met again in 1994 to give an acoustic concert, recorded on the album Hell Freezes Over, a mix of classic and new songs.

FERIAS de TECNOLOGÍA en Secundaria y Bachillerato

  El 20 de mayo de 2016 será la II Feria Andaluza de Tecnología, Robótica, Ciencia e Innovación. Destinada a alumnos de ESO y Bachillerato. Os ponemos algunas fotos y vídeos de la primera edición que resultó todo un éxito con más de 50 centros participantes de toda Andalucía. Ya podéis iros animando y preparando vuestros proyectos de Tecnología en las distintas modalidades de Estructuras, Energía, Electricidad y Electrónica, Robótica o Mecanismos.

Let’s help the world

Let's help the world

On 19th October, Breast Cancer Day is commemorated. Breast Cancer care, is a U.K charity providing care, information and support to women affected by breast cancer.

The students in the 4th year ESO bilingual have been working on different charities doing a research on the internet about how to support good causes, fundraising and how the money is used by different GNOs. We finally had an exhibition on the hall about different GNOs in the world.

It was a good way of making the students aware of the necessity of helping people in need and the importance of supporting and contributing to the research into deseases like cancer.

Journalistic Writing Competition

The Department of Complementary and Extracurricular Activities (DACE) is calling for the I Journalistic Writing IES Huelin competition. Its main objective is to promote participation and access for students to the contents of the website of the school as well as developing and improving writing skills and journalistic writing.

Competition rules:

1. Participants:

Any student who takes part in a complementary or extracurricular activity can participate. Those who are interested can take notes and take pictures during the activity and send their chronicle of the activity to
dacehuelin@gmail.com.

The best chronicle will be uploaded to the Web with the name of the author and participate in a journalistic writing competition that will be run throughout the year, opting for an award in June.

2. Selection criteria:

To select a chronicle, both formal quality and appropriateness of content will be taken into account. Correct spelling and grammar as well as conciseness and precision in the use of language will be considered. In terms of content, the piece of news should describe precisely what the activity was about, those involved in it, where and when it took place and how it was carried out. Several pictures of the activity should also be included.

3. Prizes:

All your chronicles published on the school web page will compete for a prize to be delivered at a ceremony held at the school library at the end of the year. A jury of teachers will select the best chronicles of 2015-1016 academic year.

School Trip to Bioparc Fuengirola 1º ESO B,C

On April 14th First year of ESO  visited  Bioparc in Fuengirola which represents a different concept of zoo. It is based on respect for nature and the preservation of natural species. The students were able to have a guided tour in  English and learn about the different habitats represented in the park. Among the  wide variety of animal species they were particularly amazed by the python reticulata (incredibly big!), the komodo dragon and the Sumatran tigers.
