ONLINE on November 18, 2020
The Second International Day of Women in Inclusive Engineering, Sound and Music Computing Research was going to take place in Malaga on March 20, 2020 at the E.T.S.I. Telecomunicacion, M\u00e1laga. Following COVID-19 restrictions, this event had to be canceled.

This day is specially addressed to pre-university students between 15 and 17 years old that have to decide what they want to study after finishing high shool. We want both girls and boys to be aware that they can study anything they want and engineering is a good option no matter if you are a woman or a man. You only have to like it!

Nowadays, there are many people, men and women, who due to different reasons have certain prejudices regarding what a woman can or cannot do. It is necessary to make all women and men conscious of the fact that women can develop a successful professional career, without having to renounce being mothers and having a family.

Therefore, the aim of this Second International Day of Women in Inclusive Engineering, Sound and Music Computing Research is to realize that it is necessary that both women and men work in collaboration, supporting each other, so that we all can reach fulfillment as individuals. Moreover, this approach can be extrapolated to anyone, regardless of their age, sexual orientation, race, religion, etc.

With this goal in mind, women with successful professional careers who have also formed a family will be invited to tell their life experience. Thus, girls, young women, and all the assistants will realize that women do not have to give up anything and that, with the adequate support from the rest of society, it is possible to achieve any kind of goal.

El Segundo Encuentro Internacional de Mujeres Investigadoras en el Campo de la Ingenier\u00eda, las TICs, el Sonido y la M\u00fasica (Second International Day of Women in Inclusive Sound and Music Computing Research) se celebrar\u00e1

ONLINE el 18 de noviembre de 2020
Originalmente, este evento iba a tener lugar el 20 de marzo de 2020 en la E.T.S.I. Telecomunicaci\u00f3n de la Universidad de M\u00e1laga. Sin embargo, debido a las restricciones impuestas por el COVID-19, tuvo que ser cancelado.

Esta jornada est\u00e1 especialmente dirigida a estudiantes pre-universitarios de entre 15 y 17 a\u00f1os que deb\u00e9n decidir qu\u00e9 quieren estudiar una vez terminado el bachillerato. Queremos que tanto ellos como ellas sean conscientes de que la ingenier\u00eda es una magn\u00edfica opci\u00f3n independientemente de que seas mujer u hombre. Solo hace falta que te guste!

En la actualidad, hay muchas personas, tanto hombres como mujeres, que por diferentes motivos tienen determinados prejuicios relativos a lo que una mujer puede o no hacer. Es necesario hacer ver tanto a las mujeres como a los hombres, que las mujeres pueden desarrollar una carrera profesional de \u00e9xito, sin por ello tener que renunciar a ser madres y a tener una familia.

Por tanto, el objetivo de este segundo encuentro internacional es tomar conciencia de que hace falta que tanto mujeres como hombres trabajen en colaboraci\u00f3n, apoy\u00e1ndose los unos a los otros, para que tanto ellos como ellas puedan realizarse como personas completas. Es m\u00e1s, este planteamiento se puede extrapolar a cualquier persona, independientemente de su edad, orientaci\u00f3n sexual, raza, religi\u00f3n, etc.

Con este objetivo en mente, se invitar\u00e1 a mujeres con carreras profesionales exitosas y que, a su vez, han formado una familia a que cuenten su experiencia vital. As\u00ed, se tratar\u00e1 de mostrar a las ni\u00f1as, a las j\u00f3venes, y a todos los asistentes que las mujeres no tienen que renunciar a nada y que, con el soporte adecuado por parte del resto de la sociedad, pueden fijarse cualquier tipo de meta, siendo necesario para ello trabajar todos y todas en la misma direcci\u00f3n y con el firme convencimiento de que la igualdad es la base del desarrollo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
