Objetivo de desarrollo sostenible n\u00famero 2: Hambre cero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dear friends, <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Within the general framework of the Sustainable Development Goals, this Sunday I am going to write about Bancosol, an NGO which helps those who need food. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estimados amigos:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dentro del marco general de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible, este domingo voy a escribir sobre Bancosol, una ONG que ayuda a aquellos que necesitan comida. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-wordpress wp-block-embed is-type-wp-embed is-provider-euro-weekly-news-spain\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"GQX8C3T0A2\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.euroweeklynews.com\/2020\/11\/14\/the-great-food-collection-drives-ahead-on-the-costa-del-sol\/\">The Great Food Collection drives ahead on the Costa del Sol<\/a><\/blockquote><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;The Great Food Collection drives ahead on the Costa del Sol&#8221; &#8212; Euro Weekly News Spain\" src=\"https:\/\/www.euroweeklynews.com\/2020\/11\/14\/the-great-food-collection-drives-ahead-on-the-costa-del-sol\/embed\/#?secret=GQX8C3T0A2\" data-secret=\"GQX8C3T0A2\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Great Food Collection drives ahead on the Costa del Sol to support the most disadvantaged and underprivileged.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Gran Recogida de Alimentos sale adelante en la Costa del Sol para apoyar a los m\u00e1s necesitados y desfavorecidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Each year, one of Spain\u2019s largest solidarity events collects food donations.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cada a\u00f1o, uno de los eventos de solidaridad m\u00e1s grandes de Espa\u00f1a recoge donaciones de comida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>But this year, organisers of Bancosol Food Bank Costa del Sol have been forced to change the way donations are made due to Covid restrictions and have asked for cash donations instead to protect \u201cdonors and volunteers\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pero este a\u00f1o, los donantes de Bancosol, el Banco de Alimentos de la Costa del Sol se han visto obligados a cambiar el modo en el que se hacen las donaciones debido a las restricciones por la COVID y han pedido donativos en met\u00e1lico en vez de comida para proteger \u00abtanto a sus donantes como a los voluntarios\u00bb. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The campaign will run from Monday, November 16 to Saturday, November 21, in partnership with Mercadona and 84 of its supermarkets in Malaga.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La campa\u00f1a estar\u00e1 en funcionamiento desde el lunes 16 de Noviembre hasta el s\u00e1bado 21 de noviembre en colaboraci\u00f3n con Mercadona y sus 84 supermercados en M\u00e1laga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This year, you can help in two ways \u2013 with a donation on the Bancosol\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bancosol.info\/\">website<\/a>, or by making a contribution at one of the supermarket chains which will be exchanged for vouchers for basic necessities.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este a\u00f1o se puede ayudar de dos modos: con un donativo en la p\u00e1gina web de Bancosol o dando un donativo en una de las cadenas de supermercados. Donativo que ser\u00e1 cambiado por  bonos para cubrir necesidades b\u00e1sicas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bancosol president, Diego V\u00e1zquez: \u201cNowadays it is essential to launch campaigns like this one, in order to guarantee basic food for those who need it most.
