To my family at IES Huelin,<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is time for me to bid my last farewell and thank my students and coworkers fo a wonderful year at IES Huelin.\u00a0 I have spent the last school year working as an Auxiliar de Conversac\u00edon\u00a0 with some very kind and creative teachers as well as with some energetic and eager to learn students.\u00a0 My coworkers were always there to gently guide me in creating and administering activities. I consider myself lucky because they gave me free range to create lessons in relation to class topics and because of that my creativity flourished. All of the teachers I worked with were extremely gifting in teaching. Many times I felt as if I was a student myself. The oldest student of course. The students always impressed me with their English speaking abilities. And might I add they never ceased to make me laugh. Due to COVID regulations I had the opportunity to work with all of the levels a month more or less. This allowed me to spend more time with each level and foster good relationships with my students. During my time working with the students I made it my mission to create interesting lessons that would capture their attention and urge them to participate. I believe I really accomplished this in my English and geography classes.\u00a0 I also did my very best to create a comfortable learning environment for the students. To ensure this, I made sure to always give positive feedback to my students. I believe creating a comfortable environment is essential to learning English. <\/strong><\/p>\n

A mi familia del IES Huelin:<\/p>\n

Es tiempo para m\u00ed de ofrecer mi \u00faltimo adi\u00f3s y de dar las gracias a mis alumnos y a mis compa\u00f1eros de trabajo por un a\u00f1o maravilloso en el IES Huelin. He pasado el \u00faltimo curso escolar trabajando como Auxiliar de Conversaci\u00f3n con unos profesores muy amables y muy creativos as\u00ed como llenos de energ\u00eda y con unos alumnos muy din\u00e1micos y ansiosos por aprender. Mis compa\u00f1eros de trabajo siempre han estado ah\u00ed para guiarme con amabilidad a la hora de crear y de administrar las actividades. Me considero afortunada porque me dieron una amplia gama de posibilidades para crear lecciones en ralaci\u00f3n con los temas de la clase y debido a eso aflor\u00f3 mi creatividad. Todos los profesores con los que he trabajado estaban realmente dotados para la ense\u00f1anza. Muchas veces me he sentido como si yo misma fuese una alumna. Sobre todo cuando estaba con los alumnos mayores. Los alumnos siempre me impresionaron con sus destrezas orales de ingl\u00e9s. Y podr\u00eda a\u00f1adir que nunca dejaron de hacerme re\u00edr. Debido a las regulaciones por el COVID tuve la oportunidad de pasar m\u00e1s tiempo con cada uno de los niveles y de fomentar unas buenas relaciones con mis alumnos. Durante\u00a0 mi tempo de trabajo con los alumnos fue mi misi\u00f3n la de crear unas lecciones interesantes que captasen su atenci\u00f3n y les animasen a participar. Creo que realmente cumpl\u00ed este objetivo en las clases de Ingl\u00e9s y de Geograf\u00eda. Tambi\u00e9n me esforc\u00e9 para crear un ambiente de trabajo en el que los alumnos se sintiesen a gusto. Para asegurarme de ello, comprob\u00e9 que siempre daba una retroalimentaci\u00f3n positiva a mis alumnos. Creo que crear un ambiente de trabajo agradable es esencial para el aprendizaje del ingl\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

I would also like to thank my Coordinator Paco Garcia for helping me along the way. I truly appreciated his kind manner of encouragement. I would also like to thank health keepers at the school for always being the first people I saw in the morning. Their good morning greetings and waves always started my day off on the right foot.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n me gustar\u00eda darle las gracias al Coordinador Biling\u00fce, Paco Garc\u00eda, por ayudarme a lo largo del camino. Aprecio sinceramente su modo tan amable de incentivarme. Tambi\u00e9n me gustar\u00eda dar las gracias a los conserjes del instituto por ser siempre los primeros que ve\u00eda en la ma\u00f1ana. Sus saludos de buenos d\u00edas y tambi\u00e9n sus saludos con la mano siempre hac\u00edan que empezase el d\u00eda con un buen pie.<\/p>\n

Now I will transfer into my next chapter of life working as either an auxiliar in another region or back in the United States. My time spent at IES Huelin has emphasized my abilities in teamwork and my teaching English. I will take the experiences from IES Huelin and carry them with me to the next phase of life.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ahora empezar\u00e9 un nuevo cap\u00edtulo de mi vida bien trabajando como Auxiliar de Conversaci\u00f3n en otra Comunidad o me trasladar\u00e9 de nuevo a los Estados Unidos. Mi estancia en el IES Huelin ha fomentado mis habilidades de trabajo en equipo y para ense\u00f1ar ingl\u00e9s. Aprovechar\u00e9 las experiencias que he adquirido en el IES Huelin y las trasladar\u00e9 a la siguiente fase de mi vida.<\/p>\n
