Os recomiendo encarecidamente que le\u00e1is esta novela breve en ingl\u00e9s o en espa\u00f1ol.<\/p>\n<p><strong><i>The Old Man and the Sea<\/i> is a <a title=\"Novella\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Novella\">short novel<\/a> written by the American author <a title=\"Ernest Hemingway\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ernest_Hemingway\">Ernest Hemingway<\/a> in 1951 in <a title=\"Varadero\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Varadero\">Cayo Blanco<\/a> (<a title=\"Cuba\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cuba\">Cuba<\/a>), and published in 1952.<sup id=\"cite_ref-Time_1-0\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Old_Man_and_the_Sea#cite_note-Time-1\">[1]<\/a><\/sup> It was the last major work of fiction written by Hemingway that was published during his lifetime. A veces los que la aman dicen algo\u00a0 malo de ella pero siempre la tratan como si fuese una mujer. Algunos perscadores j\u00f3venes que utilizan salvavidas como flotadores para sus l\u00edneas y que ten\u00edan barcazas a motor, compradas cuando los h\u00edgados de los tiburones hab\u00edan tra\u00eddo consigo mucho dinero, hablaban de la mar como \u00abel mar\u00bb, que es masculino. Ellos hablaban de ella como una concursante o un lugar o incluso como un enemigo. But now he said his thoughts aloud many times since there was no one that they could annoy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"q-text qu-display--block\">\u00abIf the others heard me talking out loud they would think I am crazy,\u00bb he said aloud. \u00abBut since I am not crazy, I do not care. How many people will he feed, he thought. But are they worthy to eat him? No, of course not. There is no one worthy of eating him from the manner of his behaviour and his great dignity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"q-text qu-display--block\">I do not understand these things, he thought. But it is good that we do not have to try to kill the sun or the moon or the stars.
