He received the 1995 <a title=\"Nobel Prize in Literature\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Nobel_Prize_in_Literature\">Nobel Prize in Literature<\/a>.<sup id=\"cite_ref-times-obit_1-2\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Seamus_Heaney#cite_note-times-obit-1\">[1]<\/a><\/sup><sup id=\"cite_ref-guardian-obit_2-2\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Seamus_Heaney#cite_note-guardian-obit-2\">[2]<\/a><\/sup> Among his best-known works is <i><a title=\"Death of a Naturalist\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Death_of_a_Naturalist\">Death of a Naturalist<\/a><\/i> (1966), his first major published volume. Heaney was and is still recognised as one of the principal contributors to <a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"Irish Poetry\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Irish_Poetry\">poetry in Ireland<\/a> during his lifetime. American poet <a title=\"Robert Lowell\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Robert_Lowell\">Robert Lowell<\/a> described him as \u00abthe most important Irish poet since <a title=\"W. B. Yeats\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/W._B._Yeats\">Yeats<\/a>\u00ab, and many others, including the academic <a title=\"John Sutherland (author)\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/John_Sutherland_(author)\">John Sutherland<\/a>, have said that he was \u00abthe greatest poet of our age\u00bb.<sup id=\"cite_ref-bbc_faces_of_the_week_3-0\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Seamus_Heaney#cite_note-bbc_faces_of_the_week-3\">[3]<\/a><\/sup><sup id=\"cite_ref-sutherland_david_cohen_prize_4-0\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Seamus_Heaney#cite_note-sutherland_david_cohen_prize-4\">[4]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Seamus Heaney, fue un poeta, dramaturgo y traductor irland\u00e9s. \u00c9l recibi\u00f3 en 1995 el Premio Nobel de Literatura.
