Here is some advice from the United Nations for the students of all ages. Some advice may not be followed due to the COVID 19 pandemic but let us keep them in mind!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Queridos amigos:<\/p>\n<p>En nuestro instituto estamos trabajando sobre los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible. Aqu\u00ed hay algunos consejos de las Naciones Unidas para alumnos de todas las edades. Algunos de los consejos no se pueden seguir debido a la pandemia de la COVID 19 pero teng\u00e1moslo en consideraci\u00f3n!<\/p>\n<p><strong>1.Arrange school groups to spend 1 hour a week on the beach, along lakes or in parks to pick up the litter and to raise awareness on water pollution.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Organiza grupos escolares para que pasen una hora a la semana en la playa, junto a lagos o en parques para recoger desperdicios y para concienciar sobre la contaminaci\u00f3n de las aguas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Don\u2019t keep clothes or other items you are not using. Donate them.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No guardes ropa ni otros objetos que no uses. D\u00f3nalos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Buy fruit that is in funny shapes and overripe, and make smoothies out of them.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Compra fruta de formas singulares y que est\u00e9 demasiado madura y haz smoothies\u00a0 con la misma.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Partner with hotels and restaurants to fast track leftover foods to charities that would otherwise be thrown away.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As\u00f3ciate con hoteles y restaurantes para hacer que llegue de forma r\u00e1pida la comida sobrante a organizaciones ben\u00e9ficas que, de no ser as\u00ed, se tirar\u00eda a la basura.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Recycle!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Recicla.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Keep showers short. Don&#8217;t fill the bath to the top. Excessive use of water contributes to global water stress.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No tardes mucho en ducharte. No llenes la ba\u00f1era hasta el tope. Un uso excesivo de agua contribuye al estr\u00e9s h\u00eddrico mundial.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7. Buy sustainable products including electronics, toys, shampoo or seafood and organic groceries. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Compra productos sostenibles, incluyendo aparatos electr\u00f3nicos, juguetes, champ\u00fa o productos marinos o alimentos ecol\u00f3gicos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>8. Eat local. And support fair trade associations that support and promote businesses committed to the principles of fair trade.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Come\u00a0 especialidades de la comida local. Y apoya a las asociaciones de comercio justo que apoyen y promuevan negocios comprometidos con los principios del comercio justo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>9. Do a cold wash. Warm water uses more energy.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Date una ducha fr\u00eda. El agua caliente consume m\u00e1s energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p><strong>10. Drink tap water when it is safe. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cuando sea seguro, bebe agua del grifo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thanks for reading!
